A little bit of Mt. Adams History:

During the early 1800s Nicholas Longworth, America’s second richest man, grew grapes in his Garden of Eden, now Eden Park, and produced his famous Golden Wedding Champagne, which helped qualify Mt. Adams as the birthplace of the American Wine Industry.

Art came to Mt. Adams in the 1880s when the Cincinnati Art Museum and the Cincinnati School of Art opened in Eden Park. Maria Longworth Nichols Storer, granddaughter of the aforementioned Nicholas Longworth, moved her Rookwood Pottery from a spot on the Ohio River to Mt. Adams in 1890 and began winning national and international awards.

The Mt. Adams Inclined Plane Railroad was a sentinel event in the development of Mt. Adams. It made travel to the Hill from the city easy and was the catalyst for a residential construction boom that lasted from the 1880s to the 1910s.

Come see how Mt. Adams has evolved and support the growing Art’s presence at the Mt. Adams Art Festival!

Hey Mount Adams! You SHOWED UP for last year’s Mount Adams Food Drive and again for this winter’s Warm Clothing Drive. THANK YOU!

The Mount Adams Food Drive is at it again - this time with a gooey, fun event at Flora & Flair. The challenge is to make 200+ peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. With your help, we can create and deliver fresh, homemade sandwiches to neighbors in need who count on Queen City Kitchen in Walnut Hills, Cincinnati’s oldest soup kitchen.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 5th, 6:30 pm at Flora & Flair, 1101 St. Gregory Street in beautiful downtown Mount Adams.

Bring your friends. Bring the kids. Tell your neighbors.
It’ll be fun! Can’t stay but want to help? Drop off supplies at Flora & Flair during the event or dm for other options.

AND GET READY FOR THE NEXT BIG FOOD DRIVE COMING IN NOVEMBER! LET’S BEAT LAST YEAR’S COLLECTION OF 3000 POUNDS OF GROCERIES!!!

Mount Adams Food Drive’s mission is simple and steadfast: to fight food insecurity and to foster a spirit of pride and service among our Mount Adams neighbors. Together, we aim to build a stronger, more compassionate and connected community. by @mtadamstoday

Well… Mt. Adams has some new neighbors. 🐥👀

The giant ducks have landed at Eden Park for the Freestore Foodbank Rubber Duck Regatta, and if you’re coming to see them, don’t stop there.

Make a day of it in Mt. Adams. Grab a drink, get something to eat, explore the neighborhood and support a Cincinnati organization doing some incredible work along the way.

🐥 Visit the ducks at Eden Park
💛 Support the Freestore Foodbank
🍴 Then head up the hill and explore Mt. Adams

Turns out supporting a good cause can make for a pretty great Cincinnati day. taken in Eden Park - Cincinnati Parks by @mtadamstoday
