Every group attending MTCA 2027 will be randomly assigned to one of these three Open Call numbers.
Then on Thursday night at MTCA, ALL students will have the opportunity to audition for the chance to be cast in the MTCA Finale!

MTCA + IAMT = Real Opportunities!✨Once again this year, MTCA @mtcaofficial and MTF Educational Foundation @musicaltheatre.foundation are partnering with IAMT @iamtnyc to bring 4 MTCA students Madison Montelione, Daniel Marcelino, Annika Campbell and Addie Punzel from our stage to NYC to attend the 2026 IAMT Summer Intensive!

IAMT’s Summer Intensive offers theatre training like no other. Modeled after IAMT’s 2-year Professional Training Program, the Summer Intensive features an all-Broadway and industry-professional faculty—artists actively working in the business today. For four weeks every July, students train at IAMT in NYC Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM–4:30 PM in acting, singing, six dance styles, film/TV, and more. This summer, students had the opportunity to audition for DDO Artists Agency and Scott Wojcik of Wojcik Casting, while also working with Broadway Guest Artists Casey Likes, Emma Pittman, and Sky Lakota-Lynch. No NYC theatre experience would be complete without Broadway! Students attended this year’s Best Musical winner, Schmigadoon, followed by a private talkback with the cast. IAMT fosters an uplifting, supportive environment where students are encouraged to learn, grow, take risks, and develop as artists. Because in this industry, kindness is the best fuel.
