Lots of people ask me for deck help.

Nearly always Commander, and nearly always the same problem. The deck floods out. Or it's stuck on three lands. Or it builds a decent board by turn eight and then can't finish anybody off.
So I'm opening 15 spots for monthly Magic: The Gathering deck reviews.

Send me your EDH decklist and I'll tell you why it's stalling. I go through your land count, your ramp, your card draw, your interaction and your win conditions, and I work out how often the deck actually does the thing you built it to do.
You get back a video made for your deck and a one page upgrade sheet.

Here's a real example. 34 lands, 6 ramp, 5 draw. At 34 lands in a 99 card deck you open on one land or none in about one game in four. Move to 38 and it drops to about one in six. Nothing bought. The deck just works more often.

Won't a fixed ratio make every deck the same?
No. 38 lands, 12 ramp, 12 draw, 12 interaction and 6 finishers is a frame, not a decklist. Two decks on those numbers can share almost no cards. Your commander still decides everything.
Who is this for?

Mostly returning and newer players. If you came back to Magic after a few years away and everyone else seems to have a manual you never got, that was me two years ago. No question is too basic.

Why only 15?

Winter, Team Player is a 5 mana 3/3 with Convoke, and can give you're creatures +1/+0 until end of turn each time you cast a non creature spell!

#ad Every pack of Reality Fracture has three echoed pairs in it, and the mirror is not in the artwork.

It is in the rules text. Same character twice. The one you know, and the version from the Echoverse where Phyrexia and the Eldrazi and Bolas never existed.

Winter, Tormented Loner gets +1/+0 for every creature in your graveyard. He grows off the dead. Winter, Team Player has convoke, so your creatures tap to help cast him, and then he pumps the whole board. Same number, opposite direction.

Ghalta the Unstoppable costs less the bigger your power. Ghalta the Immovable, the bigger your toughness. It is literally in the names.

They took what each character actually is and inverted it.

CraterClaw Colossus is a 5/5 with haste that gives your team trample and a massive pump. It's the same body, same trigger, except it counts your artefacts instead of your creatures and it costs one less.

Black got an Ancestral Recall.

Cheating at prerelease happens more than people like to admit, and most players honestly don't know what to do when they see it.
Some say nothing because they can't prove it. Some moan about it days later. Some never set foot in that store again. I'd go for a quiet word with the organiser or a judge while it's happening, away from the table, and stick to what you actually saw.
Prereleases are sanctioned events, so reports do matter, especially when they start stacking up.

Draconic Visitor and Ganax, Astral Hunter is an infinite Dragon combo in Commander, and it's come straight out of Reality Fracture.

Ganax makes a Treasure every time a Dragon enters. Visitor swaps that Treasure for a Dragon token instead, which triggers Ganax again, and it just keeps going.

The catch is you can't stop it, so on its own the game ends in a draw. Add Impact Tremors, Terror of the Peaks or Warstorm Surge and every new Dragon hits your opponents instead.

If you've pulled a Visitor and you're running Ganax or Dragon tribal, it's worth a slot.
