Today would've been Chris's 51st Birthday. His struggles ended this past February. Sadly, the news of his passing was not widely shared at the time, and many of his nearest & dearest had only learned about it recently.

Christian's absence saddens me tremendously. We were brothers from different mothers. The good times that we shared as friends of nearly 40 years were truly the best of times. And even some of our low points will remain cherished memories that bring a smile to my face.

If you held Christian dear, my most heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies go out to you.

A few of us will raise a toast to him and share our fondest memories next weekend.

You are welcome to join us.

PIZZA PI DAY RIDE III: PI DAY THE 13TH!

The world may be going up in flames around us, so it's prolly best to get in as much pizza, bike rides, and time with friends before we all burn!

Next Friday, in advance of Pi Day, we're riding a metric century (100 km / 63 mi) through Staten Island, New Jersey, The Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn that visits six of the oldest and most iconic pizzerias in the area with the added goal of eating a whole pi before the day is done!

Meet at 9:30 am at Whitehall Ferry bicycle boarding area.

We'll visit @joeandpats around 11:00 am, @pizzamastersjc around 12:30, @mezzalunapizzabronxny around 14:30, @patsyspizzanyc at 15:30 ish, hit @danishouseofpizza by 17:30, and wrap up @fascattipizza on Henry St around 19:00, with a lottle sunset photo op at Pierpont Park and drinks to follow.

DM if you want to hop in somewhere else along the route.
