Day 5: Summit push. Because we’d merged earlier segments, we reached Barafu Camp from Karanga by late morning. No long stop. After a brief check-in with the team, we changed the plan, pushing for Uhuru Peak the same day, not the sixth. Lunch. Short nap. Move. We left around 14:00. Six-plus hours to Stella Point 🔺5,756m. Another hour to Uhuru Peak 🔺5,895m AMSL. This was the hardest day of the climb. The weather turned without warning, warm to bitter cold, wind, snow. Everything narrowed to breathing, foot placement, and forward motion. No room for anything else. The team mattered. A lot. And the timing of this summit mattered too, more than I’ll say here. 3 of 4 #kilimanjaro #mountaineering #stillness #healing #hiking by @mtile.io

“I know everyone has dreams of flying, but this isn’t a dream of flying. It’s a dream of floating, and the ocean is not water but wind. I call it a dream, but it feels realer than my life…” by @mtile.io
Somewhere along the Salkantay trail, watching the clouds drift between the mountains and the cabins glow in the mist. Machu Picchu was still ahead, but this was a moment worth staying in. 🇵🇪🏔️ #SalkantayTrek #MachuPicchu #PeruTravel #AndesMountains #hikingadventures👣🧗🏼‍♀️🏔🌤 by @mtile.io
A few little films from some very big mountains. 🏔️ Long climbs, quiet valleys, and evenings that deserved to last a little longer. Somewhere along the Tour du Mont Blanc, I stopped counting the miles and started wishing I had more days… Glad I hit record. ❤️🤌 #TourDuMontBlanc #MontBlanc #GoUnguidedTMB #Chamonix #hikingadventures👣🧗🏼‍♀️🏔🌤 by @mtile.io
