2025 was the first full year of the mt juliet buzz— and we’re still blown away by what it’s become.

What started back in May of 2024 as a simple idea has turned into something bigger than we ever imagined. Not because of us — but because of you.

The Buzz isn’t about being everywhere.
It’s about helping neighbors feel connected, small businesses feel supported, and families feel in the know.

Thank you for reading, sharing, showing up, and being part of this little corner of Mt Juliet.

There is a place right here in MJ that honestly feels like you’ve been transported somewhere tropical — and this Saturday it’s FREE.

@caribbeanvibesvenue is locally owned, and just getting started. Think turf, tiki vibes, live music, food truck, crafted mocktails, sand volleyball, pickleball, cornhole, ping pong — and good people.

This Saturday May 23rd • 5–9:30 PM

@jeffcaronsmusic is playing and you just need to show up. No ticket. No cost. Just come see what this place is about. 🎶

🥗 Mt. Juliet… if you haven’t tried @pokeworksmtjuliet yet, this is your sign. 👀

This is one of those places I find myself recommending over and over.

When I want something that’s fresh, packed with protein, customizable, and doesn’t leave me feeling like I need a nap afterward… this is where I go. 🙌

And if you’re thinking, “I’m not really a raw fish person,” don’t let that stop you. They also have warm chicken options, cooked proteins, and plenty of bowls that are just as delicious. There’s really something for everyone.

💛 This one hurts a little.

After 19 incredible years serving Mt. Juliet, Big Bad Wolf Grill has announced that this Saturday will be their final day of dine-in service.

For so many of us, this place has been more than just a restaurant. It’s where we’ve shared lunches with friends, celebrated milestones, and enjoyed some of the best BBQ around. Thank you, Jim & Victoria, for pouring so much into our community. ❤️

If you’ve been saying, “We need to go back,” this is your sign.

📍 Big Bad Wolf Grill
189 N. Mt. Juliet Rd.

Remaining dine-in hours:

• Wednesday: 10:30 AM – 2 PM
• Thursday: 10:30 AM – 8 PM
• Friday: 10:30 AM – 2 PM
• Saturday: 10:30 AM – 2 PM (Last Day)

The good news? They’re not disappearing completely. They’ll continue offering catering, prepared meals, bulk orders, and event space rentals, so you’ll still be able to enjoy Big Bad Wolf for special occasions.

Hey Mt. Juliet! Hope you’re having a great week and ready for some exciting events happening in and around town this weekend. 🙌

Starting tonight, @dynamic_voice_theater is performing James and the Giant Peach — running today through Saturday. Head to their website for show times, details and tickets. A great one for the whole family. 🎭

Thursday, @simplygolfmtj is hosting a free Family Night. Games, fun activities and a chance to check out their facility — bring the kids and come see what they’re all about. ⛳

Then on Saturday, the @wilsoncountymarket is hosting a community yard sale. Free to attend and free to participate in — always a fun way to spend a Saturday morning. 🛍️

And finally, @sweetbiscuitco is back with another pop-up this Saturday. If you haven’t tried their mini biscuits yet, this is your sign. Come say hi to some great people and grab a sweet treat. 🍪

🐻☕ Mt. Juliet… have you been to @readyteddyscoffee lately? 👀

If it’s been a while, now’s the perfect excuse to stop back in.

Under new ownership, Ready Teddy’s has become one of my favorite local spots for coffee, breakfast, or a place to hang out.

One thing I really love is how they support other local businesses. You’ll find plants from @mellowandivy , sweet treats from @everytastything , books from @theopenshelfbooks and artwork from local artists throughout the shop. ❤️
