I’ve always been a replaceable blade guy. I was a little nervous rolling with a fixed blade but I honestly Gotta say for less than 100$ I am pretty impressed with this knife the @mtnbonded OMEGA SKINNER. I was able to skin and quarter out both my bear and my bull without having to sharpen it. With our code HAXEN you’re paying less than 90$ for a quality knife. by @mtnbonded

There’s a lot of gear we test that doesn’t stick around.

Tricer did.

These items have become staples in our setup. Lightweight, durable, incredibly easy to use, and built for the kind of country we spend our time in.

We’ve been seriously impressed with everything we’ve used from Tricer, and at this point, we don’t see ourselves carrying another tripod or bipod anytime soon.

Good gear earns its place in the pack. by @mtnbonded

Hunting amnesia is real.

You forget the weather. The miles. The heavy packs. The moments you swore you’d never hunt that place again.

A year passes and somehow you only remember why you went in the first place.

Then the truck gets packed and you do it all over again. by @mtnbonded

A few shots from our latest hunt film.

This is what MTN BONDED is all about. Two brothers—one behind the camera and one behind the rifle—heading into the high country in search of a mature mule deer.

Bad weather, good bucks, plenty of miles, and plenty of laughs.

The full film drops October 1 on YouTube. Come along for the hunt. by @mtnbonded

The GOAT @brian__barney dropped this nugget of wisdom a few weeks back and it’s really come in handy this season. It’s funny how a small tweak to the most simple things in our routines can make a huge difference.

On another note I’ve been really impressed with the @mtnbonded trekking poles this season. It’s hard to find a product that’s ultralight but also durable and these meet those standards for me. by @mtnbonded

When does a brutal pack-out turn into singing just to keep morale alive?

If you’ve got one, drop your go-to pack-out song in the comments.

Some hunts are defined by the shot. Others by the decisions that come before it.

A hard winter, changing weather, long days in the high country, and the choice to keep looking. This hunt became as much about time spent between brothers as it was about finding the right buck.

Our latest hunt film premieres October 1st on the MTNBONDED YouTube channel.

Stay tuned.
