So today would have been my Mom’s 74th Birthday…..in honor of her memory I am reaching out for 74.00 donations for The May-Treanor Ohana Foundation. Right now we are reaching out to see where we can best support our friends in the Palisades and surrounding affected LA area. With your support we have been able to help out when other disasters have occurred,and we have given to help animals during those times. Our organization has also helped schools get new equipment for PE and we also have given 8 athlete awards that help to promote their dreams. Any support helps! So happy to see these young athletes continue to grow and learn. If you haven’t been following the NCAA Beach Championships or the NCAA Men’s Championships you should tune in……congrats to ALL the athletes and coaches. Our family holds near and dear Hawaii and the. people living here ….. this is our first time back to Maui since the horrible fire that took many lives and homes. The reality of it is something else. Our foundation with the help of so many was able to raise $10,000 to help one of the families that lost everything. It seems to be moving along slowly and just so sad to see but the Hawaiian people are STRONG and we are going to figure out more ways to help while we are here. Even if it doesn’t happen on this trip, getting names, resources needed and finding avenues is going to be my mission so that we may further help with bringing back this beautiful town. Thank you to all those that have supported our foundation…..we have been able to do some great things for a family, animals and young athletes. We will continue to help our community and to help those around us…..may we all be blessed in 2024! Just a heads up…..January 13th 2024 my late mother would be turning 73 and I will be asking for donations of 73.00 to the foundation to help support young athletes through the Barbara May Award given out during the CBVa Hall of Fame event. Thank you to each and every one of you this year…..we couldn’t have dont these things without you!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR by @mtohanafoundation

More than 3000 kids have been displaced in Maui due to schools burning down and unable to be re-entered. I saw an interview of a 6 year old that said “my school burned down….I want to go back but we will figure it out”. The kids want to return to their homes, school, normalcy. Unfortunately all those for some are not possible but I hope they can figure something out for the kids to get back to a school environment even though it will be temporary till the schools rebuild. I want to see where we can possibly step in and help these kids…..it is all sad to see but I think getting the kids back to a school environment needs to happen. Be with friends, learn, let the healing begin. We are going to to see where to start! by @mtohanafoundation
