This trip to Texas has been the most memorable one yet, iv been coming to H Town for over 5 years now, but this one was definitely THE one for the books! Celebrated my mom’s 64th birthday, her experiencing Texas for the first time, the kiddos reunited after 2 years, seeing my sister and brother in law! 2 years ago, in one of the darkest seasons of my life, the universe sent me my Amara Naomi. My little light. My unexpected strength. The piece of my heart I didn’t even know was missing. Even though my world felt heavy, she came in with brightness and a spirit bigger than anything I could’ve ever imagined! Amara, you saved me in ways you’ll never fully understand. You are smart, funny, sassy, and strong. You brought life back into me! You are a reminder that even after the hardest storms, something beautiful can bloom.
