How it started… How it’s going…

5 years ago today, our dear friend @randisinn saw I was at the beach and suggested (commanded) that I text @hammertime - I said I did not have her number and immediately Randi sent me her contact. I texted (slide 3). We bantered all afternoon. She told me she needed to go into work that eve, but asked if I’d still be in town later. I stuck around (I liked her). 4 hours later she called, I clearly remember the flying saucers in my stomach when I listened to her dreamy vm. She asked me if I liked scooters (I said, like a Razor?). She said yes, I’ll be by on my Razor shortly. This beautiful being scooped me up, took me for a ride on her pink Vespa scooter and bought me an ice cream cone. Happy Mother’s Day...4/07/21 at 8:57AM, we welcomed into the world the most perfect human I have ever seen. Moses Rigby Tremsky Hammer, Moby. My Moby, our son. Wide eyed and excited about this lifelong adventure I have with you!

We are officially in love and there is no other love like it. So thankful to my partner and wife, @hammertime who is beyond a badass warrior, champion! All the pandemic-pregnant schlepping (we moved during this time) being a working person (literally labor began at work) and then 42 hours of au natural labor. I am in awe of you and Moby and grateful for this life...it’s gonna be great, and even when it’s not, it’s still great!

Today I reflected on all the great people/Mother’s that have been a role model of love and care and teaching and kindness. Big ups, to my dear sweet Mother, Marie (Moses’s namesake) who always led with her heart. Thank you everybody for the outpouring of love and support we have received. Too many friends and family to thank individually, but our family knows for sure it “takes a village” and what an amazing, strong, loving village we are blessed to have!
