Crazy to think that just 4yrs ago, today, a little while after turning 17, my big dude made this for art class.
It’s simply WILD, lookin back, after he JUST turned 21(TWENTY ONE!!! It doesn’t even sound right coming out my head…) and seeing how much he’s grown into this amazingly, magnificent human being.. ugh, he’ll probably never see this but, there isn’t a single moment that goes by that he doesn’t make me proud..
Between how he treats his brother with care, love, and affection teaching him JUST as I taught him, so long ago…
I honestly couldn’t be more proud of this young man… After everything we’ve been through, all the rollercoasters of our existence together, there just isn’t a single fiber a my very being that doesn’t just EMANATE or EXCUDE gratitude and happiness, to have this person in my life.
Trent Aiden, you’ve help ME push through so many things, and grow more then you’ll ever know, and I HONESTLY can’t thank you or the universe for being my son.. I love you, from the very bottom of my soul, and I truly with nothing more than the very best for you, in all your ventures, and aspirations.🥹❤️ by @mtsongy

8years old, man oh man...
This boy has changed my life more then I could have ever imagined.
He’s taught me to roll with the punches, and to be more understanding.
That discipline isn’t about controlling their behavior, and is more teaching them and ensuring they understand, and learn from the experience.
And more then anything, that each child has their own personality, and just because your 1st did one thing doesn’t mean your 2nd will act or even react the same way.
In a few months it’ll be just the 3 of us under 1 roof, with Trent at LSU, and things will surely change, but it’ll be another learning/teaching opportunity and the last few months have shown me that now more then ever he’s ready to step up and be the best he can be.
Dad loves you Acheron Elijah. More then you’ll ever understand or know. by @mtsongy
