9 weeks. 32 pounds. And I feel like a completely different person.This journey wasn’t just about losing weight it was about giving my body the support it needed. Fifteen years… 🥹💛How is it even possible that my baby is already 15? It feels like I blinked, and somehow the little girl who used to fit in my arms is growing into this beautiful, kind, intelligent, strong young woman.Heaven, @heaven_.na I hope you never doubt how incredibly proud I am of you. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest privileges and blessings of my life. Your heart, your compassion, your determination, your love for God, and the way you continue to become the young woman He created you to be leaves me in awe.Now let’s be honest… 😂 We can fight like cats and dogs sometimes. We can get on each other’s last nerve. But what so many people don’t see is the bond we share. We have the funniest inside jokes, can look at each other from across the room and instantly start laughing, and somehow understand each other without saying a word. Those are some of my favorite moments.People always say that one day your daughter becomes your best friend, and I’ve learned that’s so true. While I will always be your mom first, you’ve also become my little bestie. I honestly can’t imagine doing life without you by my side.These last 15 years have been the fastest and most beautiful years of my life. I almost didn’t post the before video. 💔The truth is, over the last 9 months I lost myself.Between my mom’s cancer diagnosis, becoming her full-time caretaker, stepping away from work, emotional eating, perimenopause, hypothyroidism, and just carrying the weight of life… I stopped taking care of me.I was exhausted. Inflamed. Depressed. This is what it looks like when God sustains you in real time.My mom is fighting cancer.She’s home, on TPN.She’s going through chemo.And yet… she’s still here.We didn’t know how to do any of this…But God taught us.Step by step. Day by day.My daughter is watching. And stepping up to help me!
