POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Well gang, on Tuesday afternoon i had an awful (rare) mishap riding a horse. I was up helping a buddy Elk hunt. In between the morning hunt amd evening hunt i offered to help round up yearlings calves.
I didn’t bucked off or anything. The horse stumbled and the saddle slammed into my ass causing me to lean forward into the saddle horn.
Long story short, i have a badly broken pelvis.
Been in the hospital 2.5 days already. Surgery scheduled for this weekend.
Sounds like a very lengthy recovery ahead. I’m devastated for this to happen at this time of the year.
If bored im on 5f at RGH.
Good luck hunting !! by @muc_simons

I trust my Bull Elk hunts to only one company.@wapiti_river_outdoors
Easiest, most realistic Elk sounds from a mouth diaphragm and tube.
Check them out!! Proudly Canadian .

Like it or not, sometimes bowhunters hit the front shoulder blades on animals. Hunters still expect and need their broadheads to perform if this happens.
I was thinking of testing a couple mechanical broadheads thru these 2025 Mule Deer Buck shoulder blades I saved.
Just to see how they hold up after they penetrate thru the shoulder.
I myself only use Beast broadhead. I chose what I consider next best Broadhead out there, the megameat/deadmeat.
How do you think they will hold up?
Stay tuned for the video.
PS - i wont be using these actual broadheads as they have been shot already. by @muc_simons

Had a great weekend shooting at the @archery_manitoba_asa_tour
ASA Classic/3D provincals. Managed to take home some hardware. More importantly had a great time visiting old archery friends.
The course was awesome and the shoot offs were a blast.
The Darton Tritech 35 shot amazing.
