Today is the happiest day of my life.

For two reasons:

1. I get to marry the love of my life—for the second time. 😉 And with that, I get to marry our future.

AND

2. No more wedding planning!

Today also marks the end of a year and a half of planning this wedding.

Kiki: We did it! High five!

But to be honest…

You did it.

And to everyone here tonight: what you see around you is entirely the work of my amazing wife.

Every detail. Every beautiful touch. Everything that makes today so special and makes everyone feel so welcome…

And yes, there were quite a few moments today when I was just as surprised and overwhelmed as all of you.

Everything you see here exists because of her.

And, to be honest, that pretty much sums up the last year and a half.

Picture me happily skipping through a green meadow with a big smile on my face…

…while Kiki was carrying a huge backpack—filled with responsibilities, countless ideas, and enough Excel spreadsheets to run a Fortune 500 company.

You didn’t just plan a wedding.

You built the foundation for a marriage—wrapped inside an incredible event and an unforgettable celebration.

Thank you for everything.

I love you.

I’ve been thinking about us…

And since we have someone here tonight who actually knows a thing or two about probabilities—Alex, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong…

How do two people actually find each other?

First, they have to exist at the same time.

The Earth has existed for about 4.5 billion years.

Homo sapiens have been around for roughly 300,000 years.

Then, somehow, they have to end up in the same place—which is already quite a challenge on a planet with more than 500 million square kilometers of surface.

And then they have to cross paths at exactly the right moment.

Okay… in our case, the internet gave us a little helping hand.

But still—what are the odds?

Just one tiny change in either of our lives, and it never would have happened.

A different school.

A different university.

A different job.

A different city.

A different country.

I even consulted astrology.

The long wait is almost over… only a few weeks until Gladiators will return to Germany @primevideode and @rtl_de

I had the pleasure and honor of being nominated as the Head Referee for season 1.
What an experience with my great team Laura and Fabrice.

Challenging competitions and a lot of fun!

Tough Gladiators and strong contenders!
