Throughout the semester, we love to showcase beloved books and movies that our student staff and SAC members chose for the semester. Every month we have something new to enjoy and discuss with us and your college community.

Come join us for our book and movie discussions every month until the end of the Fall '26 semester!

Book discussions are Tuesdays from 3-4pm and movie discussions are Thursdays from 2-3pm.

Now that we are comfortably easing into the semester, of course we have to introduce our weekly events happening all academic year!

For those unfamiliar and those who are, Wednesday Wonderings is a time to take space and to answer ONE discussion question every week! These questions could be the most random topic ever or so in depth we go over the hour.

It's almost research discussion week 🗒! Next Tuesday, we will be joined by Dr. Mike Metz. Dr. Metz is an associate professor in the department of LTC.

Come see our artist!!!

Braiden Wade is a Mizzou alumn that is from St. Louis and is currently based in our Columbia community! Wade started photography is his sophomore year in high school and has multiple exhibits and projects. To learn more about him, check out his website linked down below.

The exhibit "Black Boys and Their Flowers" is the exploration of Black men's mental health put into visuals. In his words, "...the stories of a few of these men, and gives them the flowers many men don't receive in their lifetimes."

To learn more about this exhibit and Braiden please come to Artist Talk on Thursday, October 15th at 12pm. See you then! 😊📸
