Woodford 25/26

This was my first return to @woodfordfolkfestival which in many ways felt like experiencing woodford in its fullness (though I now know, it will be added to each time). The year prior was magic on its own but to experience a return to the land and the community was a breathtaking layer of woodford that I couldn’t have known, until I did. It was a gift to touch back down, to observe the cycle of a year on such sacred land, and to reflect and process what has been.

So damn grateful for the connections made and for the fostering of friendships found this year and last. I feel like a goblin collecting gold in the form of humans.

And as always, thank you to my love @haddonfennell for the bounty of love and support in this thing we call muddied hands. by @muddiedhands

Embarking on my first Decan walk and, in a way, bringing you along with me ✨

Above is an invitation into a 360 day project.
This isn’t your typical post from me but I hope you enjoy this slide as much as I enjoyed writing & creating it for you. A brief explanation and history of the Decans can be found in the last two slides.

Surprise hobbitses ✨

In 2024 I released a LOTR collection which included two hobbit hole lockets, my first lockets ever. They both found homes immediately and at the time a handful of you reached out, inquiring if I’d ever make more…

The day has come. It’s time for a small batch return of the hobbit hole lockets. Lest we forget our whimsy.

PRE-ORDERS for the lockets will open tomorrow, the 16th of October, and will remain open until the end of the month OR when the available slots have been filled.

To be shipped out the first week of November!
The original two had landscape inclusions inside but this batch will be empty framed vessels for you to insert your own tiny photo or other treasures inside. The lockets are made of sterling silver ft. brass brick details, hand fabricated by yours truly.

sentimental sap incoming but
the bench is truly a haven for me.

it is an immense gift to be able to turn to my tools, to be present with my hands and raw materials amidst so many cycles and seasons of life. I realised yesterday that this month (around this time) marks 4 years of metalsmithing !!!

how wild and precious and bewildering that something can sprout from nothing and grow into a pillar of our lives.
