To the first of many 💃🥂 #solocamping

We have done all kinds of camping before but this was extra special! At first, I did not know how I would do it but I am glad that I made this decision to push my boundaries and jump right at it 💃 If this woman, who is sh** scared of Lizards can do it, so can you ❤️

So here’s my guide to have a safe , happy camping trip.

⛺️ plan and reserve for a site in advance , so this way you can be prepared.
⛺️ Know your routes / site area / park. Have an offline map or you can get one from the park office.
⛺️ Learn how to set up your tent before camping , you might not be able to google from camp areas (no service areas)
⛺️ Every campsite area will have an emergency phone box- know where your phone is.
⛺️ Talk to your Park rangers , learn more about the wildlife in those areas. Snakes are quite common in most hot / humid areas. But not every snake is venomous (According to Natgeo, only 7% can kill or significantly wound humans)
⛺️ Stock up your food but never store it out in the open (they attract animals) . Use closed containers.
⛺️have backup extra power banks or if you have a car use it for charging devices
⛺️ Never compromise on your camp bed, weather can be brutal at times, prepare accordingly

Being prepared always helps you stay fearless and enjoy the moment but one can never be fully prepared. So the key mantra is ‘Don’t panic, breathe and think’

Did I miss anything ? Share your camp insights in comments.

HAPPY CAMPING 🏕

A day out with Meenakshi ❤️

Meet this 22 year old cutie who lives in 📍Thekkady, India.

Got to play with her, feed her and bathe her.

You can meet her at Elephant Junction, Thekkady! They have 11 elephants in their camp and gosh! It was a beautiful place ❤️
