Hello, my name is Cierra and I’d like to you welcome to MUD! 🤍

I couldn't find stylish capes for the salon + spa that I currently own, so I made them! It really is that simple. They are fun, comfortable, and keep the color and water out. Everything you want in a salon cape. You won't be disappointed!

I tend to be a busy person, so many ask me "Why add to your plate with MUD Label?"

Well, my husband is one of those smarties who has said “if you don't have a solution make one.” And, his attitude on that and my "can't quit" attitude made me solve an issue. This has been super fun for me. When I was in high school my dream was to go to California and become a fashion designer. Seriously. I went so far as to trying to get into a school of design and was accepted just to learn that the 1/4 of rent in a flat with 3 others was $2,000. A small-town (100 people) girl could NOT afford that, but to be fair 3/4 of the US could not afford that - especially a college student. So, I decided to go to school in SD. This cape designing happens to be something that I have always loved on a much smaller scale. We have been using them in our salons and have made some tweaks here and there to ensure that they are not only stylish, but also make sense for clients and stylists.
