Ad featured - Adani Green Energy ‘Pehle Pankha Aayega’

What a lovely time we had making this one with the bestest @iamitrsharma and @pictureschrome. It was a wonderful week spent in peak summers in Rajasthan for Adani. We went there thinking we were constructing the base of a windmill and ended up doing a lot of live locations instead. I remember at one point @ad_naresh_pimpalkar being very worried that —will our work even show if we aren’t making/constructing anything big??

But true production design doesn’t scream for attention, it blends into the background and makes the viewer get lost in the story and emotion(as taught to me by @raamreddy.creates). I thoroughly enjoyed sourcing locally and figuring out the setups while living in the spaces. It was great fun making a home in a simple courtyard space with each corner being dedicated to a different generation in the family and their treasures being stored while serving functionally as a space for each of them!

Thanks to my team @ad_naresh_pimpalkar @muggle_mughal @_donutgirl_

That’s Arnav Jethalia. This film wouldn’t have looked the same if not for him. Thanks to Swaraj. He mentioned about Arnav, Arnav shared a deck without any proper brief and I was sold. Also you will find Arnav wearing the coolest fits. That’s a bonus.
All of it aside, I think this project wouldn’t have happened the way it did if not him. The ease. The passion. The detailing. The sheer willingness to make it happen was just so so heart warming.
Vrushti and Ritima were the two adorable team members he had. And it was so so beautiful to see all of them work how they did. Can’t be more thankful to them. They took care of the details, the vibe and idk what all.
Only and only love to each one in the team. I hopeeee there are more coming in sooon. taken in Mumbai, Maharashtra by @muggle_mughal
