I did it!! 🥹

This one is for the little girl who had to figure it out, the woman who kept going, and the grandmother whose love made both possible.

My path was not traditional, and honestly, that makes this moment even sweeter. I faced setbacks, delays, doubts, and plenty of reasons to give up, but I kept going.

Success is not about having the perfect path. It is about having enough faith, grit, and resilience to stay loyal to the goal long enough to see it through.

A lot of grace, grit, and one very proud grandmother watching over me. 🤍

Celebrate your wins, big or small. Whether it is with a room full of people, a small circle, or quietly by yourself, every goal you reach deserves to be honored.

I’m so excited to take the stage with Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico for RENACER: A Día de Muertos Celebration — an evening of culture, music, tradition, and folklórico brought to life through dance. 💃🏻

I’ll be performing dances from the regions of San Luis Potosí, Jalisco, and something especially exciting… a new region will make its debut during the show. 👀✨ You’ll have to join us to find out which one!

Three years ago, I started my folklórico journey. 💃🏻❤️

Funny enough, part of the reason I started was because someone told me I wouldn’t be successful at it.

Apparently, telling me I won't be good at something or can't do something is very effective motivation for me. 🙃🔥

I started without knowing the basic steps, the terminology, or really what I was getting myself into. I just knew I wanted to try.

So I showed up.

I practiced. I struggled. I got uncomfortable. I learned. I messed up. I practiced some more…and somewhere along the way, the thing that once felt completely foreign started to feel familiar.

Three years later, I have the privilege of performing alongside dancers who have been doing this for 10, 15+ years. And I’m still learning every single time I step onto the dance floor.

This anniversary reminds me that you do not have to be the right age, have the right background, have years of experience, or get everyone else’s approval before you begin something that excites you.

Sometimes you just have to start.

But here’s the other part: an idea alone won’t change your life.

You have to give the idea effort. Give it consistency. Give it courage. Give yourself permission to be a beginner.

Then keep showing up long enough to see what happens. ❤️

So if there’s something sitting in the back of your mind that you keep saying you want to do…

Consider this your sign to stop just thinking about it.

Start. Get uncomfortable. Put in the work. Let yourself be bad at it before you become good at it. Enjoy who you become along the way.

Three years down. Still learning. Still dancing. Still proving that sometimes a little “you can’t” is exactly the fuel you need. Thank you ANMBF for investing in me. 🔥💃🏻

My MBA arrived in the mail today. 🎓✨ Holding it in my hands feels emotional, surreal, and incredibly rewarding.

This degree represents more than an accomplishment. It represents the hard work, dedication, sacrifices, setbacks, and resilience it took to keep going—even during the moments when the finish line felt far away.

I am deeply grateful to the @untdallas for being part of this journey and for providing the knowledge, experiences, and support that helped me reach this milestone.

Let this be your reminder to believe in yourself, remain committed to your goals, and never underestimate what perseverance can produce. Your journey may not always be easy or look like anyone else’s, but every step forward matters.

Keep going. Keep believing. Your moment is coming. 🤍
