On Wadawurrung Country in Torquay, Victoria, Mule breathes new life into an existing building, bringing modern Mexican dining and an open fire to the Surf Coast. The materials are solid and hardwearing. With the palette being warm and welcoming that plays off the vibrancy of Mexican food. With long, cold winters on the coast, we designed Mule to be an all-seasons cosy taqueria - the outdoor space shifting easily between summer and winter. Mule is our first hospitality project, and it was so nice to do it with an amazing group of friends, who are all so genuinely passionate about what they do. by @mule.kitchen
