a sweet family session in their beautiful home — Misha was an absolute ham for these and I feel lucky to have gotten that energy from a toddler! thank you to Dasha and John for letting me into your home and letting me play 🤍 taken in Birmingham, Alabama by @mullenphotoco

as a photographer, I’m a sucker for a photo. of anything and everything I love. and as I reflect more about our upcoming wedding, the thought I’ve had often is how fleeting our memories can feel. years from now, our wedding may be a blur to some. maybe even us, one day.

but this physical, chemical miracle of a photo marks this exact place in time. anticipation for our new life together and all it brings. new careers. ideas of home projects. the giddiness of possibilities.

huge thanks to @carynorton and @jaredragland for being so kind and showing us the magic within the craft of tintype. I’m forever grateful. taken in Birmingham, Alabama by @mullenphotoco

I had the pleasure of shooting this year’s @antiquesgardensbham gala — full of extravagance, wonder, and amazement at the incredible installs around us. everyone dressed to the nines, of course! such a wonderful way to support @bbgardens and kick off a great weekend. cheers! taken in Birmingham, Alabama by @mullenphotoco

an afternoon stroll with Kassidy and Taylor — we rescheduled this session TWICE due to rainy weather, so the lighting felt extra special when we finally got to shoot. we grabbed some wine, took a walk, and just hung out for an hour! my favorite kind of session :) taken in Birmingham, Alabama by @mullenphotoco

I met several people who were visiting Birmingham for the first time ever; what a perfect event to show off what this city does best! taken in Birmingham, Alabama by @mullenphotoco
