I am going to write a few extra things here that weren’t quite captured in our video above (quite honestly, I was just trying to get through it, and glossed over some important things that I want to make sure gets shared🥹🙏).

To the small circle of dear friends and family that we invited to intercede with us for a miracle…there aren’t enough words to thank you for how faithfully you stood with us, laid hands, sent voice memos with powerful prayers and petitions to the Lord on our behalf, etc. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! This was life giving for us and helped me in my lowest place to still depend on the Lord for literally…everything.

To my husband, Josh, you have been the most steady hand and heart for me to lean on and process all this. I cannot thank you enough for being the best partner in life - how you held yourself and continue to believe for our family is a blessing I will never take for granted. I love you deeply.

The out pouring of love and support from all of you on here, the messages, the texts, the calls…it just goes to show, that there is SO much love and community and connection available to us if we allow it. 🥹 One of the reasons we decided to announce earlier is just for this reason: I’d rather have the network, community and support throughout a delicate and intense process such as pregnancy, than to do it alone and in isolation. Please do not hear what I am not saying - there is NO SHAME to anyone who chooses to wait to announce or keep things private. We just chose to rejoice and share instead of wait “just in case” and let fear try to creep in. This was OUR way of beating that fear out the door.

WORSHIP. This has been my absolute weapon against fear, doubt, and the very thing that has kept me closest to Jesus the entire time. Guys, please do NOT underestimate the extreme power that worship releases. Worshipping Him is easy when things are going great, but choosing to STILL worship Him in the deepest place of suffering?…now that is sacred. And something we only get to do while on this side of heaven. I promise you HE WILL MEET YOU INTIMATELY in that place.

Silent Retreats with @kallahculture are now at LEAST a twice per year staple for me. I can’t recommend going on one of these to experience it for yourself. Once you do, you won’t want to stop. It’s a lost art to slow down longer than a few hours…and God meets you in every way. 🥹🙌🕊️

I want to remember this moment FOREVER 🥹

Something that I’ve come to learn deeply within this journey and embraced fully: the harder something is in your life, this simply ensures God gets even more glorified. 🥹🙌🕊️ We were one of those “unexplained cases” where all bloodwork and numbers on both sides were darn near optimal. Of course conventional doctors loved to fall back on “well it’s your age” 🤮 - but we know that God doesn’t think that way nor is that a blocker for Him to do miracles.

Josh and I made a clear decision about a month before we conceived that we were doing to start ACTIVELY interceding for this baby. We got convicted that we were just passively trusting the Lord with this request and desire instead of petitioning before Him like the Word of God says! (Phil. 4:6, Mark 11:24, John 14:13-14, and MORE!). HE WANTS TO KNOW!

…and it was within these 30 days that we got the answer to our prayers. 🥹🕊️ He is truly a good, kind, God. He is listening and knows the perfect time for EVERYTHING. Never lose heart (Luke 18:1).❣️

1 + 1 = 3 ❣️Our best adventure yet…

Our little miracle (well let’s be honest, BIG MIRACLE), Baby McKisic, is on the way. 🥹 We could not be more overjoyed and thank Jesus every day for this precious gift He has given us.

For each of you who have prayed and spoken over us, thank YOU for believing and speaking in faith - thank YOU for standing with us these past 3 years. PRAYER IS REAL and POWERFUL. 🕊️And most of all, He is SUCH a good Father.

We know it’s probably earlier than most typically announce (about 7 weeks), but to be quite honest, we’d rather have more people know, so that you can continue to support, stand with us, and speak perfect life over our growing family. Just as He designed. 🙏

For those of you still waiting, Jesus is not only able, but WILLING to bring breakthrough in your situation. I have a new and renewed faith for you as well - please reach out if you’d like specific prayer for your future baby/babies, and we’d love to pray with you.

Back story: 😆 For those of you on here who don’t know, I busted my two front teeth doing a “cane related” obstacle back in October 2024. 🫠 Let’s just say…it wasn’t pretty. It’s been a major mental barrier working with anything involving a cane in ninja since. But the coaches and trainers at @junglegym.ninja always know best and exposure to the very thing you’re afraid of is actually the solution. (Sounds like a great application for life doesn’t it?! 😉)

One of the biggest mantras I love about the sport of ninja is…when you fail, YOU TRY AGAIN. And if you’re falling…that means you’re trying 😆🙌 Translates a lot to life, ya know? 🥹
