The internet often makes people look one-dimensional.
But behind every “mom or a content creator” is an entire person with stories, struggles, dreams, healing, chaos, insecurities, growth, and a hundred identities outside the square on your screen !
So here’s me — beyond the aesthetic reels and pretty moments. A doctor. A wife. A mother.
And my favourite, A woman in her 30s still figuring things out as she goes..

I started creating contents 3 years ago during my first maternity leave. It was like a personal digital diary, where I rant about random thoughts and ideas. I was surprised (happily surprised) when you all decided to join me as I figure things out.  Not perfect. Not performative.

Preparing for a second baby looks very different because your firstborn is watching everything.
The excitement. The fear. The confusion. Everything.

Chapter 3 : Preparing Her heart ♥️
Of my series : From one to two.

For us, that mostly meant protecting our little moments together.
Nothing elaborate. Just small, consistent moments that said:
“You still have me.”

My girls are now 4 and 1, and I waited almost a year to share this because I wanted to know if it actually made a difference.

For our family, it did.

As a doctor and a pregnant mama, let me tell you — seeing your underarms, neck, or inner thighs darken during pregnancy can be surprising, but it’s a normal part of this hormonal rollercoaster.
Here’s what not to do when you notice this change:
❌
1. Don’t panic — It’s called melasma or hyperpigmentation, and it’s super common.

2. Don’t bleach or use harsh lightening creams — Your skin is extra sensitive right now, and strong chemicals can do more harm than good.

3. Don’t scrub aggressively — It won’t lighten the area and might irritate your skin.

4. Don’t compare your body — Every pregnancy is unique, and so is every skin journey.
