Já sæll það eru komin 8 ár síðan þú kvaddir okkur Fannst eins og það væri ekki svona langt síðan En hvað um það söknuðurinn er alltaf til staðar Og kannski finnur maður mikið fyrir því að þú sért ekki hér til ad spjalla við mig Ölver , því vid gátum spjallað um allt og ekkert ,stundum héltum við bara kjafti og fannst okkur það bara ansi gott. The surgery went well. They fixed things up and relieved pressure around the nerves, though I’m still not completely sure how much was done. Still in pain, which makes sense since one vertebra was fractured. Erla, I love you backwards and forwards — you are my rock. ❤️ Askja and Ynja, thank you so much for being there for me. I love you endlessly. ❤️ Now it’s all about recovery, moving forward at full speed with no brakes. Humor stays on full power — otherwise this would be way too boring 😄 by @mummipals

I was driving with Erla when memories started coming back. It reminded me of that time when the doctors didn’t know what was wrong with me. They just kept giving me more and more medication. It really shook me to watch videos of myself from that period on Facebook—I had never seen them before. At first, I wanted to delete them, but then I thought: no. This happened the way it did. I wasn’t in control of it, and it’s not my fault that the doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. by @mummipals
