- ahhhh, filled with so much excitement right now!

but this is some of my process for Desire Lines with @vibeartsto, I am so thankful and honoured to have been apart of such an amazing cohort!

this was such a fun and messy project because I had an idea, I followed through, but this was something I never thought I could accomplish, because why did I sew a big ahhhhhh "blanket" made out of cut up album pages, filled with photos, notes, journal entries, and my random art work! (i honestly forgot that it was being reproduced, and got fixated on 4x6 feet 🤧🤭, that i made it 4x6 feet)

seeing myself on a subway station platform that I've frequented my whole life is so surreal, I am still in disbelief and still so honoured, because for someone like me who is so afraid of being precieved, actually yeah this is exposure therapy for me lmao! I also love my family so much, I LOVE LOVE my friends and chosen family so muchhhhh, but also #iloveme ALHAMDULILLAH

“It is such an honour to have my work displayed in a transportation hub that I frequented when I was younger, it is a very surreal experience to see an image of not only myself, but my art as well, in a space that has up to a 10 of thousands of people passing on by!”

In Photos: We pulled up to the One More Wear Foundation’s 1morewear 13th annual back-to-school supply drive & car show at @storefrontkgo to capture how the community is coming together to create change.

One More Wear Foundation Founders & Brothers Andrew and Jason Miller started the annual back-to-school supply drive & car show to give back to the community in Scarborough. 13 years later, they’re still putting in the work.

The annual back-to-school supply drive brought a vintage and luxury car show to the heart of Kingston-Galloway & Orton Park (KGO), where it’s been hosted in partnership with the East Scarborough Storefront for the past 7 years.

300 donated backpacks & other school supplies were given out to children and youth in the KGO community for free as part of this year’s annual supply drive.

Fresh fades and braid-ups were provided as part of the annual supply drive to support youth heading back to school.

Local community program Scarborough Cycles hosts a bike repair station through their Lawrence-Orton Bicycle Repair Hub.

The City of Toronto’s Cultural Hotspot (@culture_to) was also on site as they support KGO by funding local community arts programs, such as the Spice Master Bootcamp, developed by Kotiande Yomo (@kotiiande (pictured above) and facilitated at East Scarborough Storefront

Children play in a community misting tent developed by the Canadian Red Cross. As heatwaves become more common in local communities, solutions such as misting tents are being piloted as for communities caught in climate change.

- to start off #worldphotographyday 2026 today, i am posting some shots I took for @jayucanada in partnership with @td_canada

these shots (1-8) are from Fall 2024, but im still running off the adrenaline of this day, words can't explain how appreciative I am of @jayucanada @tishanbaldeo and @annelayacan for believing in all of us to push out our projects, with so much care and genuine love, for letting us breathe and go at our own pace without judgement!

I still think about these days everytime a Sunday passes by, or if I just pick up my camera. I never thought of myself to be a portrait photographer, but after this day I seen that I am a photographer that comes in multitudes the same way I am an artist that can't be put in a box (or a human :p)!

I am so thankful for the people I chose to shoot and for them coming ready to go and running with the little mishaps that's happened🤍🤭

Thank you to the people we shot for our test shoots!

I am so privileged to have a community organization like JAYU that believed in me as a whole artist back in 2022, that literally pushed me to start my art career, that made me stop being shy which makes me step out of my bubble constantly, and to meet such amazing people (which i keep running into all over Toronto and it brings me so much joy hehehehe)
