my morning ritual with @komimatcha.ca 🌟 i recently added sifter charms to my matcha routine recently and it has definitely been SUCH a game changer 🥹 it makes sifting my powder more fun + efficient and i always like an excuse to add a little whimsy to everything 🤭

New Restaurant in Burnaby with unlimited salad bar 🥬🍚

💬 if I had to get one thing again, I would probably get the grilled pork belly; it had a nice charcoal aroma and loved the unlimted salad bar ❣️ taste wise, it was okay personally nothing too fancy but worth a try if you love charcoal meat dons. overall, it’s a nice and clean space, with a cool concept and lots of food options (they also have noodle bowls, etc.) there was a short wait on the weekend but queue runs relatively quick #vancouverfoodie #vancouvereats #burnabyeats #japanesefood #vancity taken in Burnaby, British Columbia by @muncheswithmins

trying jeju in vancouver ! 🌟🥩

finally got to try the restaurant with a month long waiting list in vancouver!

i feel like it’s so hard to find an upscale korean restaurant that does it right but Jeju definitely does 😚 we managed to snag a 9.30 PM reso 2-3 weeks ahead of time but I would recommend booking as soon as they release the spots on the 1st of every month

comment if you have any other reccos you think i should try !

DTF? 🤨

LONG AWAITED @dintaifungcanada opens in van !!!! this was SUPER nostalgic for me as i grew up going to the DTF in bkk with my family & friends so safe to say i rlly enjoyed the meal. contrary to popular believe I thought most of the menus we got were pretty worth it. must orders are the xlb (the thinnest ive had in van and so juicy), the sesame noodles (if u like spice), the taro xlb (not too sweet) and the sea salt cream cheese green tea !! the fried rice and garlic beans def deserve honorable mentions too☺️

overall:
vibes 8.5/10
food 9/10
service 7/10

it was 🐝 would revisit again

$55 OMAKASE IN THIS ECONOMY?!? 🍣🤯

📍itosugi kappo cuisine ( @itosugi_sushikappo )
💌 3648 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6R 2B7

tucked in the neighborhoods of w broadway/dunbar area, itosugi kappo offers super well priced omakase courses ($55 lunch & $88 dinner). my fav bites were the uni gunkan, horse clam nigiri with yuzu salt, and the negitoro roll. although we only had the lunch menu, I was actually so stuffed after,, i also loved how intimate the seatings were so the experience didn’t feel too rushed or crowded or anything,, we went for Valentine’s weekend and booked around a month prior so book fast!!

TAG A FRIEND TO TRY THIS WITH AND THANK ME LATER! 😗😌
