well this is…..vulnerable….

…… grab headphones or a speaker. I’m sorry. I think you’ll enjoy this video of a half Arizonan-American, Hebrew Name-Having, Arabian Muslim(I think), chick, singing in a venue that’s way prettier than any human could ever be fr…….

….when I began high school in Cypress, Texas.. my parents pulled me out of Art(drawing/painting) aaand Violin/Band… (don’t ask me why. I still don’t have an answer from them)….

My point is.. in 9th grade I tested into Varsity Choir into a giant, competitive Texas High School system….

I was a true Thespian as a kid too lol…My Mama put me on Moulin Rouge when I was 7.. I had the soundtrack on a cd, for my pink walk-man..

nd my Father¿.. bro my Father, took me to see the Phantom of the Opera Live, at ASU’s Sun Devil Theater, when I was 9.

My parents, if anything.. are their own curators, of me..
I miss them a lot
Everything is hard
yet…

On my Bike-ride today to get groceries, as always, I lost time due to my curiosity..

fortunate to live a life where my curiosities are afforded+

I happened down the wrong street, and found, yet another, beautiful. Dauntingly Decadent. Vaulted Ceiling and Archway sporting….Majestic, Church… with multiple access points and an open gate….in broad daylight too so, very inviting.. my Artist mind was welcomed with more than I could’ve ever dreamed to witness on a bike ride for groceries I could only hope, would be on sale

And thus..
Above you’ll find, what I make of ruins

ruins.. churches specifically.. wallah they make the absolute best musical studios… I know little about music.. most of the time… I’m a painter…and confoundedly grateful to be considered anything more than human at this point..

Mar7aba folks, I’m eager to get back to archiving my work in a space where friends, family and the rest of the world can reflect and take action🌱

Earlier this year, in collaboration with @urbanpulse.mgmt we decided to bring solidarity to the dance floor 🪩 To vocalize the beauty, rhythm and style of both Palestine and Lebanon, I designed a tapestry that reflects much of the traditional dress you see historically, stemming from the region.. It was so beautiful to hear people interacting with the painting, and even more incredible to see the massive support surrounding the subject♥️

During the event we sold prints of my work in order to give back to a local cause that is taking action on a global scale. @accesscommunity is a non-profit organization that helps to grow and preserve the heritage of these countries in strife. I’m proud to say we raised $400 to donate to the center and had conversations that will last longer than the history written in books.🇵🇸🇱🇧🇯🇴
