Her body is a Haunted House, with creaks and cracks. Haunted by ghosts of memories and filled with cobwebs of regret.

The End…or is it? I like to think we’re made of stuff that can’t be destroyed, a form of energy forever changing.

So behind with the Spooktober drawing challenge, but in my defense I’m getting over a stupid head cold. Also, as is my tradition this time of year, I’m sending out my Halloween art card to my ghouls and fiends. If your address has changed or you’d like to receive spooky mail please DM me! Here’s #mushroom for #mdwc26d6

Combining the Owl and Mythological prompts for this drawing of La Lechuza. In some myths she’s an owl witch with shape shifting powers, in other stories a vengeful lady phantom seeking revenge.

It seems there isn’t an official term for a group of ghosts, but I did find terms like “a haunting” or “a fraid”. I’m going to call this sketch “A Babble of Boos”.

Enjoying all the spooky things during a very rainy Fall weekend:
1. Drawing inspired by things mentally consumed
2. Reading “Funeral Readings and Poems” edited by Becky Brown
3. So much fun seeing “Paranormal Activity” on Broadway, highly recommend (not adapted from the films)
4. Watched Mārama, filmed and acted beautifully, but the story felt a bit rushed
5. Haunting and ethereal music from mushrooms by Bionic and the Wires

🖤
