M W A K O - Named after the Swahili word for glow. Its sweeping form twists upward like a rising flame, capturing the fluid movement of fire in a moment of stillness.

I’m very happy to share that my work has been selected for @homofaber 2026 - An Island of Light, presented by michelangelo foundationat at Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice this September.

Bringing together exceptional contemporary craftsmanship from around the world, this year’s edition is under the artistic direction of @esdevlin

It is a great honour to have my work included and presented alongside such an extraordinary group of artists and makers.

My sincere thanks to the Homo Faber team, and to @jeanblanchaert and Irina Focsaneanu Eschenazi.
