Some dogs are clients. Some dogs become family. Charlie Beagle was both. ❤️🐾🌈

Eleven odd years ago, I convinced Clare that she needed another dog to keep Pixie Puggle company… and that dog was Charlie Beagle!

For eleven years, I walked you almost every Monday to Friday, but you were never just one of the dogs I walked.

Somewhere along the way, you became mine too.

I genuinely thought you’d be around for a few more years because, quite frankly, making it to 12 was something of a miracle.

Eleven years of that wagging tail. Chewing my shoes and tea towels. Stealing food. Counter surfing. That cheeky smile. The great escapes. Climbing things you shouldn’t have been climbing. Near-death experiences from eating things you really, really shouldn’t have eaten.

You could be an absolute shitbag at times…

…but you were also the giver of the most amazing snuggles and the embodiment of everything that makes a beagle a beagle — stubborn, mischievous, food-obsessed and completely bloody loveable.

I’ll miss your little face, flappy ears, beagle bay, disappearing acts, selective hearing, stubbornness and all the chaos that came with you.

Some dogs leave paw prints on your heart.

You left a whole set of muddy footprints.

Eleven years of memories and stories. A little beagle bite scar on my right knee. And a very big, very beagle-shaped hole in my heart. ❤️

You were the bestest big brother to Carson, Pixie’s partner in crime, a fabulous Gruppie for Mama Jayne and Mick, and my heart absolutely breaks for your Mum, Clare.

This is my tribute to you, from your first day with me to your last and it was an absolute privledge to accompany you on your final journey.

We all know our dogs aren’t here for long enough, but knowing that never makes goodbye any easier.

Run free, my beautiful beagle boy.

Go find the biggest pile of interesting smells, steal all the food you can find, and cause as much chaos as you possibly can.

You were loved more than you’ll ever know. 🐾❤️🌈

All my love, Auntie Fi x

THE SUN WENT DOWN.
THE GASSERS CAME OUT. 🌙🔥🎪

Dusk turns to darkness.
The lights come on.
Headers glow.
Engines roar.

And suddenly… Gasser Circus after dark. 🏁💨

Old cars. Big engines.
Smoke, noise and wheelstands under the lights.

Night racing just hits different. 🔥

MEAN STREAK. NO MERCY. NO APOLOGIES. 💀🔥

@loz_butcher’s Slingshot Dragster — Mean Streak bringing the attitude to the Hot Rod Drags 2026.

Backed up on this occasion by ‘Jungle’ @patsypbl Brooke-Langham, this is pure old-school dragster attitude — low, loud, and absolutely mean.

Chrome, noise, smoke and a whole lot of horsepower.
This one doesn’t do subtle. 🏁🔥

“When the yellow gets loud… 💛🔊”

NOT SO MELLOW YELLOW.
’55 Chevy Bel Air.
Gasser attitude.
Old-school drag racing.
And absolutely no intention of behaving. 💥🏁

Back in 2014 I wanted to do a road trip for my 40th birthday and visit some of my all time hero’s hometowns. @tikiroom78 and I had some of the best experience of our lives on that trip. Visiting where Dolly came from and spending time there, was pretty f’ing awesome bucket list thing to do…
Thank you for all the love Dolly
We will always love you

When 3 seconds feels like a lifetime. 💨🔥

Nothing beats the sound, the tyre shake, and the smoke of a Gasser leaving the line. Slow motion wasn’t made for algorithms—it was made for moments like this.

My First Hotrod Hayride at Bisley
(hardcore memories and new friends made)

There is so so much to see and take in, I literally didn’t take any pictures.
Therefore here are the 4 photos and one video I did take. (The toilet seat fried my ‘tism brain sorry not sorry). I also managed to crack half a tooth off eating a piece of sourdough, but did manage to scrub up at some points. Thoughts are with those dealing with some sad events from the weekend.

Thank you to the lovely gents in the cabin next to me for adopting Bru, keeping an eye on him in the heat and the copious feeding of treats….he won’t forget you!
Thank you to all the members of the Orginals, the Haywoods, the Pikes, the Booths and the Dennings for making me and Bru feel so very welcome and at home.
