From start to finish, I was confident that Chris over at @backlandstudios would know what we were after for this song. We both used instruments we’ve had since we were kids, the same SG i’ve been banging away on for 10 years and Harry’s beat up snare drum are both front and centre on it. I guess we grew into them the same way we grew up together, it means a lot to harness that energy and have Chris’ help to focus it into a track we all think is gunna turn out crazy stupid good. taken in Backland Studios by @muntjac_trail

Mega session today with the @muntjac_trail duders. So much to like about this track, properly into it. Wicked people too. We drove this session hot, and committed to all eq and compression going in to get the tone right before we looked at post. Pleased with how today went, aside a pre and a ribbon mic dying. More drum work tomorrow with another session booked in first thing ❤️

Two-piece @muntjac arrive at @thebeehivelivemusicvenue on Saturday 19th September. They bring with them a sound that is angular and inspired by post-hardcore bands like Fall of Troy while also having progressive elements that showcase the bands talents.
