We will miss you. A lot.

My friend Tonio Freitag lost the fight against cancer.

He was a fantastic human being with a huge heart and a big love for everything nerdy.

We studied together at @filmakademie_bw and he was the VFX supervisor on the „The Night Father Christmas Died“ the short movie that scored us a nomination for the student academy award.

He later moved on to not only work on several hollywood blockbusters (Marvel, Alien, etc) but to also became a lecturer at @animationsinstitut , the best school of VFX in the world!

He was one of the most talented people I ever knew. A true artistic soul. Music, visuals, games… you name it.

We once got into a heated fight about the shadows on “Games of Thrones”. A show he worked on.

I buried a friend today… and here is something he taught me:

Do and enjoy what you love and have fun while doing so. No regrets. Cease the day!

Tonio lived like that! And I will miss him. by @munzenheimer
