Blackout Events located and founded in Phoenix Arizona is branded in supporting local artists and neurodivergent individuals who have not yet found their voices. As a new upcoming curator my team and I wanted to bring a fresh spin into entertainment. There was a gap that needed to be bridged in the creative space. As we continue to build our platform we are looking for like minded individuals to volunteer their time and talents in this beginning phase. Theresa Gee, The Muralcle Worker prides herself in bridging the gap between community and art. She focuses her time on helping others grow their brand and builds self esteem amongst the community all while working on her own. As a fellow creative she understands what it is like to feel invisible and hopeless all while doing what you love. She wants everyone she encounters to know that there is room in this world for everyone to shine, we just have to remove the shades protecting us from the light. The Blackout is more than an event it’s a movement for creatives to support one another in an unbiased and free spirited space. The original Blackout Events debut was February 1, 2026. Featuring 3 amazing visual artists and 6 talented vocalists varying in style. Black history is extremely important to the brand. The US President threatened to remove black history from museums and that triggered many people including myself. I spoke up the only way I knew how by making sure that black history is respected in the art world both vocally and visually.
