wow… 1.5 years since I last posted on here heyyyyy….. moved halfway across the country 2x since then, spending lots of time re-approaching art with no intention at all, trying new media, letting it turn out imperfect, giving it away to my friends for free, and returning to my very first childhood source of artistic inspiration : horse <3 heyyy by @murhn.bzn

I’m so excited to share this - my most recent mural project! I’m so grateful to have gotten to do a piece that represents both personal growth and the strength we find in community in a place where I’ve firsthand gotten to experience those things myself. Early this year I moved back home to escape a tumultuous living situation and terrible post-grad burnout/imposter syndrome. At a time when my mental and physical health were in a pretty low place, I got lucky enough to stumble into mōtiv. I’ve gotten to experience the strength there is in kind community and the joy there is in getting your sweat on. To G, to the whole mōtiv crew, and to everyone who has cheered me on whether in a class or while I was up on my ladder working on this project - thank you for your enthusiasm, your trust, and your energy 💛🌻@motivwoodlands

paid a few hundred bux for a local animation class where the prof ended up not talking to us at all whatsoever and only scheduled canvas posts to redirect us to YouTube every week. I dropped out but here’s the fruits of my labor - a little sketch turned limited animation piece featuring the oh so vast knowledge that i gleaned from 4 YouTube videos <3 wow. swipe for moodboard&still. might have a few prints of this available soon!!

mock-up poster(?) thing based on the @suavepunk song that got me thru my last year of college. I composed this back in summer 2021 (i guess it had to marinate) then found and decided to finish it this week. ignore the scratchy text. It felt essential to the composition but I am not currently in possession of an adobe illustrator license 🫥 swipe for full crop and more juicy details <3
