“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬ ‭
———————————————————
After a lot of deliberation, prayer, and time in the Word, I followed in the footsteps of Jesus and was (re)baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Although my traditional Methodist roots may contradict my belief. Baptism should be a choice. A child is not saved as an infant and should not be baptized for that reason. Baptism should be used for one to publicly show their faith and their striving to be more like Jesus. Baptism is sacred and is a cleansing of the body. I am so glad to call myself a follower of Jesus. by @murphmc12

I just want to thank God for the opportunity to run at the collegiate level. Thank you to my parents, coaches, and teammates for their support. After a great talk with Coach Kam I’m committing to Spring Arbor University for my next 4 years. by @murphmc12
