The Social Essence is coming to life this September.

SEPTEMBER 19
The Social Essence: A Conversation on Creating

Join us for an evening exploring the relationship between art and content, creativity and commerce, and the work behind making something meaningful.

We’ll be joined by Austin Scott, Fred Brandstrader and Han Teverbaugh for a conversation around creative practice, storytelling, and creating more sustainably.

You’ll also get to experience the full Social Essence world we’ve been building, including The Essentials Menu, our collaboration with Overflow featuring the Morning Slice Latte and Slow Morning Tea, alongside the entirety of The Hard Work shoot by Garden Grown and Austin Scott, taking you beyond the final images and into the creative work behind the campaign.

We’ll be set to jam from 8-10pm then will find ourselves playing games with the @spiralsnloops activation 🎮

It comes with a range of sentiments as we prepare for a.grand finale of Low Vol. at Dome Studios current location.

For a little over 2 years we have been cultivating a space for people to authentically connect and create with one another. And this Thursday is our final go at doing so in this space.

Low Vol. is where you can turn down the noise of the outside world. It’s where we plant seeds and nourish them through an active application of the gifts that we have been blessed with.

All of this blooms from collaborations, which is why we are excited to be partnering with such an incredible human being, Anthony Bartley @fadingroyalty , to showcase a preview of his “Mind Games” exhibition that will be premiering in Chicago on May 22nd 2026 at @connectgallery_ in Hyde Park.

In the spirit of play, there will also be video games in the basement as support from @spiralsnloops 🌀

‼️Unexpected update to share with you all 🗣️

We have our last two Low Vol. at @dome_studios current location happening tomorrow (04/16) and next week (4/23) ✨

We know this message comes as a surprise to most, as we did not have this in our playbook. However, it is important that we lean into the pivot to make the most out of the opportunity.

There is a sincere love and care for all that has gone in to making this event what it is, so we would love for all those who’ve been apart of the journey to come by these next two weeks to properly wrap up this chapter.

This week we’re doing IMPROV and next week we’re doing the grand finale 🗣️ stay tuned for more details
