Committed to entering (if accepted) WTAC 2027, so thought it would be best to start doing some test days. Prior to leaving I did another session with @the_complete_race_driver to get a huge head start on learning the track and further working on some “driver mod” Was a bit like a fish out of water when I first arrived but @toddxhiggins and @gryarisau made me feel at home at SMSP Set myself a personal goal of reaching a 1:39.99 lap time prior to heading down, and after a night session and day session ended up with a 1:39.03 in the last session. Car performed perfectly through 2 days of abuse thanks @akracing_ak for keeping it performing. Almost time for a bit more power I think….. @timeattack_qld QR round 3 done and dusted, somehow the weather held for the morning session. Destroyed my PBs on both track lay outs Clubman 56.5 ( old PB 57.83 ) Sprint 53.5 ( old PB 54.15 ) A fresh set of @rydanztyreaustralia R50 definitely a huge improvement over the CRS I had on the car A sim training session with @the_complete_race_driver was game changing, even if you exclude the practical part of driving a sim, the knowledge these guys pass on is priceless !
