Nobody talks about the whiplash of AV life.

One day you’re backstage at a packed concert with thousands of people, giant LED walls, moving lights, and enough cable to wrap around a city block. The next day you’re in a corporate ballroom making sure Karen’s PowerPoint advances when she clicks the button.

Different shows. Different crowds. Same goal: make it look easy.

Whether it’s a sold-out concert or a 20-person meeting, the audience only notices us when something goes wrong. That’s the life of an AV tech—one day rockstar energy, the next day boardroom energy, and somehow switching gears overnight.

Wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Honda’s Motocompacto might be one of the coolest little EVs you didn’t know existed. ⚡️🏁 Small, weird, futuristic… and honestly, pretty fun. Spotted one at Laguna Seca and had to check it out. 🏎️

A little behind-the-scenes look at helping get the Honda Truck set up and race-ready at Laguna Seca for IndyCar Championship Weekend. There’s a lot that goes into making race weekend happen, and it’s pretty cool getting to be part of it from the ground up.

If you’re out at the track this weekend, come by the Honda tent, say hi, and check out some of the newest Honda vehicles while you’re there. 👋🏁

Sometimes “9–5” in AV means climbing under a temporary building, squeezing through places you probably weren’t meant to fit, and getting the u job call done anyway 😂🎥🔧

Definitely not the office job people picture when you say 9–5. All respect to the song and the legend — just enjoying the irony of the moment.

Some race cars were built to be displayed.
This one clearly still thinks it belongs on the track. 🏁🔥

There’s something different about hearing old race cars fire up at Laguna Seca. No soundtrack, no speakers — just mechanical violence waiting for the green flag. 🏁🔥

Before Tesla, Rivian, or even modern EVs, there was the 1916 Rauch & Lang BX6 Brougham. Built as a luxury electric vehicle over 100 years ago, it was quiet, elegant, and incredibly rare, with fewer than 1,000 believed to have been built.

Not a bad week at work. 🙏

Some people come to Monterey Car Week to see the cars. I get to see what happens behind the scenes. Working at the Koenigsegg house and getting a front-row view of machines that most people will only ever see on a screen. Definitely one of those “I can’t believe this is my job” moments.

Not every day you get to say you pushed a $2.75M Lamborghini. 😂🏎️💨

Behind the scenes at the Bonhams auction during Monterey Car Week. Everyone came to see the cars… I got to help move one. 👀

Would you trust yourself pushing a $2.75M car? 😂
