This song hails from my High Vibrations album~ is it a love song? Or something else? I’ll let the listener decide :) I loved playing with Ryan Brown and Murv Douglas, both talented and charming gents who bring a great vibe and groove to the proceedings. Both will be joining me on my next show, broadcasting later this summer to herald the new album series I’m releasing starting in August. This project has been in the works for over 8 years and I’m really excited to bring it to fruition. Though I don’t have any songs that hit the Billboard charts (yet!) there are some songs along the way that have become my better known and most requested tunes. There was a time back in the 90’s cassette days that this little ditty surfaced and became a fan favorite. I re-recorded it for my Green Tea & Blueberry Pie album back in 2015, which featured Ryan Brown on drums. To have Ryan playing with me on this show is a treat! Adding Murv on bass really turned us into a solid trio. Next time I’ll remember to bring my kazoo :) Oh and the @rush shirts are in honor of the new tour and our general love for these Canadian music makers. We are two extremely excited dudes who may weep openly at the @thekiaforum 🤪
