nothing beats a clean home + dinner ready after a long days work ☺️

respectfully, we disagree 🇫🇷

one of our favourite things about travelling is experiencing architecture beyond the screen.

the scale, materials, details, history and atmosphere of a building are things you can never fully understand through drawings or photos alone.

as designers, travelling has made us realise just how much inspiration exists outside our everyday surroundings - sometimes you just have to go and experience it for yourself!

au revoir, paris. until next time 🤍

a MUST-VISIT if you’re in Melbourne 🇦🇺 just an hour’s drive from the CBD, and absolutely worth the trip!

and it doesn’t stop here 😌💡

our lamp collection keeps growing and honestly… we’re not complaining!

one of the things we love about @templeandwebster is that we can find beautiful pieces from their own collection, like the Sutton Linen Lamp, while also discovering designs from other brands available on their website, like the stunning Blake Linen Lamp by @paolaandjoy 🤎

we’ve always believed that lighting can completely transform a space, and these two lamps bring so much warmth, texture and character to our little apartment.

at this rate… we might run out of places to put them 👀

person at the end made it a 1000/10 🤯

when the sun is out, we had to get out of the city and head down to Daylesford to enjoy the outdoors 🍃

📍Lake Daylesford, Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺

this bench is located in the inner side of the the lake, approx. walk to it around 15-20 minutes from the entrance!

just 2 designers enjoying our home office☺️

when we’re not working on architecture, we’re usually still working on something else creative.

…brainstorming the next reel idea, designing graphics, editing content, planning our home, or slowly building the next thing together.

justin is usually embroidering, digitising, or editing @mus.haus content.

megan is usually designing graphics, sorting home admin, or currently… planning our upcoming europe trip! (will be shooting content abroad for the first time 😮‍💨)

so having a desk setup that feels cozy, clean, and intentional has genuinely made us feel so much more productive without even trying!

massive thank you to @deskyau for the standing desks and ergonomic chairs, absolute game changers 🙌🏻

we love the little office space we’ve built so far - and can’t wait to keep adding to it as we grow!

this is your sign to start posting🤞

we started @mus.haus 7 months ago simply as a place to document our home, our ideas and the things we love about design.

fast forward to now… at just over 1,000 followers - and @benqau invited us (?!) to Sydney to experience the launch of their newest ScreenBar products, with flights and accommodation included 😮‍💨

what makes this even more surreal is that we’ve been eyeing the ScreenBar since it first came out in 2017. to now be in the same room as the team behind the products, hearing about the thinking, design and development that went into creating them, was such a full-circle moment for us.

we can’t wait to integrate them into our own desk setups and share more with you soon 👀

but more than anything, this was a little reminder to just start posting (and of course stay consistent) you really don’t know where sharing the things you genuinely care about might take you.

here’s to more experiences like this, meeting more incredible people and creators, and most importantly, enjoying the process along the way 🤞

if opportunities like this can happen to us, they can happen to you too.

shoutout @benqau for the best hospitality and an unforgettable experience! by @mus.haus

wfh office upgrade - pt 3! 🗃️

two different setups, one cohesive workspace.

we went with 2 @oakywood desk shelf configurations to suit the way each of us works, while keeping the same light oak finish to create a uniformed look across our shared home office.

it’s made such a difference to the desk - everything feels more organised, intentional and a LOT less cluttered. we especially love how the timber brings some much-needed warmth against the rest of our setup!

and the best part? no wires in sight 😮‍💨

crazy fact at the end 🤯

📍Flagstaff Gardens, Melbourne

right in the heart of melbourne cbd, flagstaff gardens feels like a little oasis amongst the buildings, traffic and constant movement of the city.

we’ve walked past the gardens so many times, but never realised how much history sits behind one of melbourne’s most peaceful green spaces.

once melbourne’s first burial ground and later a signalling point for ships arriving into the city, the site eventually became the public gardens we know today 🍃
