Last night finally the long awaited premiere of Amsterdamned II took place. A project we’ve been working on for so long and safe to say: one of the biggest film releases of the year. 💥

A huge premiere in a packed Tuschinski Theater in Amsterdam felt more than right and what a success it was!

Loved returning to team @splendidfilmbnl to take part of this journey again.

A def highlight of this month was the trailer premiere (!) of @amsterdamned_ll 💥
At Pathé Tuschinski we launched the trailer with Dick Maas, the main cast, Dutch press, friends in the industry and partners such as Mastercard, Yamaha Motor Europe, FEBO and Hôtel De L’Europe. We also announced a first: Amsterdamned II is the first Dutch film ever in IMAX.

So proud of the relentless team at @splendidfilmbnl and all the cast & crew. The reactions were amazing: “film history is being written,” as De Telegraaf put it.

“Kinderen horen zich te verwonderen. Spelen zonder angst en zorgen terwijl ze de wereld ontdekken.

En juist die vrijheid van fantasie en verwondering is voor kinderen in Gaza nu compleet onmogelijk door de verschrikkelijke ellende waarin ze elke dag leven. Waar wij onze kinderen verhalen en veiligheid kunnen geven, leven zij gedwongen elke seconde in angst en geweld.

Het is gekmakend dat wij als burgers machteloos moeten toekijken naar wat er gebeurt.

‘Het wonderlijke verhalenboek’ is een kinderboek vol versjes waarin kinderen bijzondere avonturen beleven. Dit is precies zoals het in de werkelijkheid zou moeten zijn.

So excited for this collab between two of my favourites! I loved seeing these two talents at work together. 🙌🏼

Launching this week: SPRING KIDS. Born in spring, nurtured by nature— @marit_harte and @stijndevriesss unite their creative forces in SPRING KIDS, a series that celebrates the beauty and spontaneity of the natural world.

Merging the organic tactility of Marit’s sculptural forms with vibrant tones drawn from Stijn’s photography and leftover paper from his bookmaking, this series playfully explores lightness, depth, and quiet curiousity. Each piece feels like a fresh breath of spring - a gentle reminder to see the world with childlike wonder. by @muscas_nl

Recap of last month’s highlight of Marit Harte x Conservatorium Hotel!

During the week when all of Amstedam was breathing art, @marit_harte latest works were on display in a special pop-up exhibition at the iconic Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam. The exhibition opened with a private vernissage and in the week that followed, took over both hotel entrances and the central lobby. A curated selection remains on view until September.

Before the holidays are really over and we get back to work in a brandnew year, there’s this highlight I def want to add here ✨

✨ Marit Harte x PORSCHE ✨

When visionaries meet, magic happens. At the end of last year, we witnessed exactly that as together with @porsche_nederland, we brought together some of the most ambitious minds in our country for an informal lunch at the atelier of @marit_harte

‘The Art of Ambition’ wasn’t just another event – it was a celebration of those who dare to dream differently. Like Porsche and like Marit, these selected artists, entrepreneurs, and creators share an incredible dedication to pushing boundaries and pursuing excellence. It was so inspiring to hear all of their stories that day.

In an intimate setting, surrounded by Marit’s artworks, Marit shared her personal journey of ambition and creativity. The carefully curated lunch experience by our forever friends of @ninouramsterdam mirrored both Marit as Porsche’s dedication to refinement, and they as always created a perfect backdrop for meaningful connections and inspiring conversations.

What became clear throughout the afternoon was that whether you’re crafting automotive masterpieces, inventing a million dollar idea or creating contemporary art, it’s the courage to really chase your dream that sets you apart. It’s about embracing the unknown, accelerating towards your dreams, and never settling for anything less. It was yet again a valuable lesson I hope to take with me in 2025.

Special thanks to @porsche_nederland and @ovideagency for fueling this unique confluence of art and ambition. 🩶

Here’s to those who dare to dream bigger, go (or drive!) further, and create without compromise. Because in the end, true pioneers never just follow paths – they create them.
