Using an EFile can absolutely change your prep game, not to mention save you time AND money! But technique really matters 👀

Here are 3 common mistakes we see all the time:
1️⃣ Using carbide bits at incorrect angles - Using the tip or edge can lead to rings of fire, and unnecessary damage
2️⃣ Running carbide bits at too low an RPM - Carbides need speed to work efficiently, if you’re running it too slow your bit can skip and not remove product properly
3️⃣ Forgetting to use reverse with diamond bits - When working around the cuticle, using both forward AND reverse helps you exfoliate the cuticle and side walls evenly

Common EFile mistakes nail techs make 👀

EFiles can be amazing! They can speed up your services, reduce strain on your body and ultimately allow you to earn more money every single day. But if they’re used incorrectly they can cause damage to your clients natural nail plate. These are some of the most common mistakes we see when using an EFile…

❌ Using incorrect angles - The nail plate should NOT be exfoliated. Your EFile should be used to skirt around the nail plate, removing only the non-living tissue.

❌ Using the wrong speed for the wrong grit - Your RPM needs to be changed depending on the grit and what you’re doing. The same speed shouldn’t be used for every bit.

❌ Using low-quality bits - Some lower quality bits can be made with crushed glass rather than quality diamond, so investing in the right bits really matters.

❌ Skipping proper EFile training - An EFile is a professional tool, and learning how to use it safely and correctly is essential. Without it you may cause damage and it means you’re not insured.

This treatment could earn you an extra £1500 per month, seriously 🤯
