introducing Muses By Macy ⋆˙⟡ a digital & film photography + storytelling service for the romantics ༄

I vividly remember being 15 & getting my first job at Sonic (IYKYK) to save up for a camera - and I’m so thankful I did ꩜

having been in the wedding industry for over 5 years as both a coordinator & photographer, it became difficult to ignore the universal pull I have towards this space. I picked professional photography back up only recently, after taking some much needed time to rediscover how my craft fits into a space that can often feel more rigid than artistic.

the transactional feeling that too often accompanies one’s wedding day has always been, for lack of a better word, icky to me. I want to really connect with each couple I’m lucky enough to work with, to authentically understand their love story and capture the details that very few would notice. call it a documentary style approach, or some other category to fit into, each love story is it’s own and I want to be a part of telling it ㅤꨄ︎
