Frodo when he was just a little zuzz.

Same tank a year later (well, technically not the same since the first one sprung a leak last spring)…pic 3 was the 75gal last January. It’s crazy to see how much the plants have filled in, especially the ones growing out of the tank!
You’ll notice the fry hatchery hanging on the front at the moment—I have my third batch of baby corydoras aeneus in there (hoping these ones make it past infancy!).

See also a few photos of the 20 gallon at the end (which didn’t exist at this time last year, the leak in the big tank forced me to expedite my plans for setting it up), and some videos of the fish plus a very flattering pic of my angelfish Chrysanthemum; he’s a supermodel and he knows it 🐠. Kronk the bristlenose pleco was feeling antisocial on the back of his rock but I’m sure he’ll put in another appearance soon.

@inktober day 31: Award

There were a few points where I didn’t think I was going to make it through inktober this year, but here we are completing all 31 days (and mostly staying on schedule)! So I’m giving myself a Grammy for finishing #inktober2025 . Do I care that Grammy’s aren’t related to physical art? No, no I do not. That’s what we call “artistic license.” Cheers everyone!

@inktober day 29: Lesson
A couple of measures from the Rachmaninoff prelude Op. 23 No. 4 which I have been practicing recently. Swipe for a little recording of me playing this section!

@inktober day 27: Onion
Didn’t have many ideas for today so I went with a very quick Calvin and Hobbes one, this time from when he was an onion in the school play but got stuck in his costume in the bathroom when he was supposed to be on stage.

@inktober day 26: Puzzling
The redstone comparator might be one of the most complicated things I’ve ever tried to understand!

@inktober day 25: Inferno
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings obliteration.

Hearing the @grsymphony play a full concert of Hans Zimmer music last night definitely informed this choice!

@inktober day 24: Rowdy
It certainly gets pretty rowdy when someone rolls a natural 20!
Gonna be real, I’m losing motivation to finish inktober but there’s only 7 days left!

@inktober day 23: Firefly
Thanks to @brittfigures_ for the idea for today! Here’s a quick 10-minute drawing of Ray from The Princess and the Frog.
