I've been meaning to post about this night, but I wanted to do it right.

FIRST & foremost, HUGE Thank you to all the friends, family, & supporters who came thru (and to all those who showed their love & support leading up to the show) ❤ Just as the great @nic.ellison himself once said, we wouldn't be anything without you all.

avoid crashing onto it
this time?
you fell apart
& put yourself together again,

it all seemed
pointless didn't it?

but everytime
you felt pulverized
you found out
more about yourself
didn't you?
with every
grounding stop,
you realized you
never really knew
how to rest,
didn't you?
with every
disappointment
your tears did
shed layers
& layers,
& layers
of gunk;
didn't it?
so fall apart
let it be
cry out all
the rivers &
the seas to
meet the ocean,
that you are
deep
deeper than ever

been discovered
before
— uncover.
through
centuries,
millennia,
& eons;
deep within
you is
this ancient,
indomitable
spirit
that will
burn for
all of eternity.
so throw away
& cast into the
fire every
fiber of
what no
longer should
preside authority
over you
because
how long
will you let them?

also, also, sharing as is has not only been freeing, but has also been "anti-AI" in a way xD✌️

for all the good it can bring, cause it's simply but a tool (like how music is, and money, and social media loll— all of them to some degree [to connect, to etc.), the stealing that it does just because we now have the ability to share thru "free" platforms is clearly harmful.

anywhoo— truthfully, i almost got pneumonia to the point that i was in the ER 2 weeks ago, so this lingering cough is not playing around; but nor is my body, so, i'll keep on keeping on 🤟

this may or may not be the last of the poems for the time being xD, but they've been very helpful these past few days to redirect the mind from physical circumstances

though they came out of nowhere, i hope that they at least brough comfort & love & peace. just like they did for me, just wishing the same to all 🫶

I used to think
that in
love,
I was looking for
a face
—aesthetics,
a "type,"
an ideal;
but in the ripe age of 27
i bore fruit at least
& realized that
every branch from which
i harvest,
are from those who
just love me as i am
—not for any acollade,
resume,
benefits;
i am loved just for
who i am.
in the ripe age of 27
i realized
i bore fruits
according to where
i was rooted;
so now, in
love
i look to be planted
on fertile ground,
upon soil
that nourishes;
among other plants
who wish to share
& not to hoard;
among those
whose roots
[genuinely] integrate
to communicate
with my own
as we build
a network,
—a community.
in love
i no longer
wish to simply
admire & be admired
as an arrangement
[only] to decorate
for a couple days
[then] wilts away.
in love
i look to be planted
on fertile ground,
upon [beautiful, cultivated & ready] soil
that nourishes;
where there is sun,
water,
calm air.
because in real, true love,
everything grows
[freely.]

June 2026... what a time; damn. um, thankful to still be alive 🙏 thankful to support systems; to have been able to afford time to heal, and reflect, & to just sit and be, for what felt like- the first time in my whole entire life so far.

to anyone dealing with illness, my heart goes out to you. to anyone dealing with uncertainty and doubt, i'm sending so much love to you 🙏🫶

despite how big our thoughts & emotions & what's manifesting physically are, there's always the reverse as well. take your time to rest. take your time to grieve. take your time to see that if there is darkness, there is light.

sending so much love to all 🧡 hope everyone had a glorious pride month; & even if you don't think it applies to you, please be rest assured on the fact that pride is not only for gender queer & individuals who have reclaimed what society has labeled them "queer" (meaning weird, strange) for, but for all to embrace their full selves & know that nothing was ever wrong about you. you are as human as humans come, with a little bit of sugar & a lil' bit spice; a lil' bit of cooky, and something nice✨️🌈 loll

just as every ray of the rainbow is defined, all there is to be is to be balanced between our colors & how each of our rays align.

hide & seek;
love

is more like a seesaw
where you ebb & flow together
& share the ups & downs
together,
love
—the unconditional kind,
is not a competition.
it does not concern itself
with winning:
the argument,
who cares the least,
the cooler side of the pillow,
who texts first,
—no,
love is not war.
—not the unconditional kind;
love protects
but not [violently];
it shelters in the way
that a home
keeps the warmth in
love
real, true love,
—the unconditional kind
blossoms in fertile ground
where there is sun,
water,
calm air,
& although it learns
to keep it's thorns
& signals it's boundaries
that propels
from within
or saps out
when bitten,
