Not "Copyrightable" Should Mean No Music Royalties

It is obvious that"AI-generated music is illegitimate and not created by a human. It is obvious that it shouldn't be on a streaming platform built for songs created by humans. It is obvious that "AI-generated music" shouldn't receive royalties, but somehow tech companies slipped fraudulent AI-generated songs through the cracks.

Now it's time to fight back these frauds and their illegitimate "songs". They fraudulently steal royalties from music distribution platforms while exploiting the real songs of real songwriters and real musicians who their AI music was modeled after without permission and cover licenses.

So many AI-generated songs are just straight copying the music of real independent artists and destroying their life and livlihood. This is not something to take lightly. This is an assault on all real human music makers, especially independent artists who don't have the funds to hire a legal team to fight for them. AI music has caused so much emotional suffering and financial loss for us. Illegitimate "AI artists" have been uploading hundreds, maybe even a thousand, of their fake songs per year in attempt to fraudulently steal royalties for their fake songs. This is fraud on a grand scale.

It's time to stop these greedy criminals from taking any more from us. by @musicbyjoy

Pappasitos is closing due to lack of business, even though we just went there twice. This makes me sad. by @musicbyjoy
