WHAT THE HELLY!!!🥹🤯

Two years ago I set myself two goals for 2025. The first was to play my very first festival and the second was to play a gig outside of the Netherlands. And now guess what, I didn’t manage either of those goals in 2025 😂 BUTTTT 2026 came around the corner with a big ass surprise for me named @parookaville!!

I was sooooo nervous before the gig, already days before tbh… I’d never played a festival before and it’s very different from a club setting, where you build a journey over the span of a whole lineup. On a festival, it’s just you. And you need to provide a good time. That put a lot of pressure on me. I do have confidence, but in those moments I honestly have to play it cool (like slide 10 😎🤙🏼)..

Anyways, let me tell you, my hands were a bit extra sweaty. But once I hit play, I quickly got into the groove and from there on I had a blast!! And as if that wasn’t enough, I was lucky enough to share this milestone with so many important people!! My brother decided to come from Denmark?! Like whaaaat?!!!🤯

The support from all kinds of people was outstanding!! 🥹

It’s difficult to put all those emotions into words, but I know one thing for certain: I am super grateful for that experience and more than happy with how it went. THANK YOU!!!❤️

Especially to @milan_248 @mikeyysky @fabio_kiehnle, my dear friends, the whole artist team (so many showed up 🥹), and of course, most importantly, YOU, the crowd!! 🫶🏼

Thankful for that day, that evening, that life. It is so so much fun to spin tunes and see people going nuts to it!!! Tbh that gig was so special to me since it was a full circle moment. The moment where I really discovered techno in the broader sense was at the night when @komoost and @tresorberlin collabed. It was in the very same venue, which is today run by @fixy.groningen. It’s not that long ago. Maybe 2-3 years. That evening, I was literally standing first row the whole time with my mates (last slide). Now I was standing at the exact same spot as the DJ we enjoyed listening to and the room was packed as well. Couldn’t have asked for more!!! I am very grateful for every soul that pulled up and my gang supporting!!

Especially thx to @wouterharingsma, @2cp_____, @mariiia_tbo, the whole collective @atgradient, and the absolute g behind the camera @surifilmss!!:))

Slide 2: @jksvds - Dance with the lights 🤌🏼
Slide 4: @dieessenz - hypnotherapy (one of my favs! 😵‍💫)
Slide 6: @arktic.x - Sublevel (that was peak time, you guys went nuts! Leave the magician some love!) taken in Groningen, Netherlands by @musicbymat

It’s been a surreal weekend to say the least after selling out @fixy.groningen on our Groningen debut, and opening the doors to our new space in Leeuwarden.

BIG appreciation for everyone that showed up and danced with us. We are just getting started.

Happy to present our sound to a wider audience and to have the chance to play so close to my little home town! 🙂‍↕️☺️ Going to have opening duties at Whacky Shack! Very excited for this one! Who will spot my dad in the crowd? 🧔‍♂️ taken in PAROOKAVILLE by @musicbymat
