“Scream Queen” EP out now on @2999rec 🪩

POSTS STORIES REELS

at this point i have teased you enough. today, i am thrilled to announce my next EP “Scream Queen” will be released online, to tape, to CD Oct. 2 via @2999rec 🪩

this project has been in the works now since late last year and is the result of one of the most emotionally volatile periods of my life, and i leaned into my feelings. every day feels a bit like a psychological slasher. every day i find myself on the verge of letting out a blood curdling shriek — society feels on the edge of total collapse and an ensuing over-reliance on technology looms as the next wave of brain rot.

as a trans woman, i often feel a bit like a final girl. there are new threats daily, major and minor. yet i resist the urge and the pressure to assimilate to a life of ambivalence. its key to not turn my back on others and lean into a heightened sense of individualism.

there is an imminent threat chasing us into the dawn of a new day. we need to run, we need to get creative, we need to survive with less. and when i eventually make my getaway — i will laugh hysterically and i will scream into the void.

the artwork is a collaboration with my lover @devilsbedhead

🔮 “Hypnotized” official music video 🔮

“Hypnotized concludes the proceedings with robotic vocal manipulations, a considerably funkier backbeat, and the electronic eccentricities of Cabaret Voltaire. Romantic obsession becomes another exercise in voluntary submission, complete with hypnosis, physical desire, and the familiar human enthusiasm for surrendering good judgement.”

once again, remarkably thrilled with how @sparklemotion_bk is bringing these songs to life and shaping the visual identity of this release 👁️‍🗨️

The penultimate “Scream Queen” music video is out today — revisit “Sentimental Materialism” through my eyes. 👁️

this project has historically been mostly instrumental and this EP was a step away from that tendency — I really wanted to find my voice as a musician and share my experience… yet my heart lives for a strong instrumental number.

The Scream Queen EP is out now — it would mean the world to me if you listened. If you have listened, what do you think? Is there a standout track?

“Living Online” official music video 🕸️🌐

Video produced by @sparklemotion_bk

“The hot wind blows and the drums begin — like clockwork. There is a party tonight, but at what cost? The synth bass is buzzing, and the singer is a pouty brat. ‘When you die, they will cross the line’. We are encouraged to flatten our personalities into the shape of a palatable online persona(s); it has never been more important to be a freak, and to be yourself. But what is left when we die? Our digital foot print? Could it be co-opted to become an influencer from beyond the grave? Am I destined for a restless eternity selling the latest trend? Online, the human spirit dwindles. Soon, social media will look like bots and influencers marketing to other bots and influencers. It is a vicious cycle — but can you walk away? Or will you continue to ‘Walk the line’”

I am genuinely giddy about how this music video came together - buckle up ⚡️

“Musique Machine redifines the ideologism of hardware musique with her devotion for italo disco and dark wave originators. The result is a record that will be remembered for years and make a point, a line for the new sounding generation. This is out tomorrow 10/2/2026 but is sounding like 9/9/2999.”

sneak over to slide 2 for a preview of the title track and the excellent video c/o my dear friend and long time co-conspirator @sparklemotion_bk 💟

the time has come — “scream queen” is out now 💋

available on bandcamp, and (most) streaming services.

when every day feels a bit like a psychological slasher movie, you are on the verge of letting out a blood curdling shriek. we are encouraged to flatten our personalities into the shape of a palatable online persona(s); it has never been more important to be a freak, and to be yourself.

but what is left when we die? our digital foot print? can romance exist in a digital space? can intelligent thoughts survive? are we destined for a restless eternity chasing the latest trend? online, the human spirit dwindles. It is a vicious cycle — but can you walk away? or will you continue to “Walk the line”?

i want to thank @devilsbedhead for creating art that perfectly captures the frenetic energy of this release, i also thank you for your endless support. i don’t know if ill ever forget you pulling tarot cards to help me identify what was missing on this release. you are foundational in my life.

i want to thank @peretsky for guidance and thoughtfulness. whether it be in our classes or group critiques you challenged me to go deeper and really nail the execution. working with you has changed my life for the better and has provided me with endless growth.

@sparklemotion_bk thank you so much for everything you have done to support me and for helping to craft a digital world where this exist works through video (more to come on that later). you are one of my longest co-conspirators and i thank my lucky stars 12 years later we are still finding ways to work together.

thank you so much @2999rec for the faith and carte blanche to really perfect this release. your futurism and enthusiasm helped shape this release — your support of the vision and project has meant the world to me. today is a day for us to both celebrate. 🥂

and finally, thank you for listening. today, i hand “scream queen” to you, to listen to, make meaning of, and to dance to 🪩 the future is ours

“The Devils” (1971) 4k restoration was a truly grotesque and enveloping experience. I had seen the censored version almost 3 years ago… on rewatch this really hits all the religious trauma.

side note: this was my first time seeing a film at a movie theater in 12 years — well worth it
