You should probably get to know me now that you’re here 🫶

Part of reducing the stigma around mental health is having normal people participate in the conversation… and talk about things

Because normal people struggle with anxiety. Normal people have relationship stuff. Normal people question themselves, and overthink, shut down, avoid hard conversations, and wonder if they’re “too much.”

I’m here to talk about the behind the scenes of therapy, and all the things we are so uncomfortable talking about. From Anxiety and Learning to trust yourself again, to Trauma and Self Worth and Why people get weird when you say Couples therapy.

How to navigate finding the right therapist… and what you need to look for to know you’re in good hands. Welcome ☁️

📣 this is NOT to guilt you. it’s to educate you.

5 things predators hope you never teach your kid, and none of them require you to have already messed up.
Predators are out there, alive and (un)well. We need to make sure our kids stay alive and well. You can do this. We can do this

Let’s talk about it. Even if it’s hard.

if you or someone you know needs support:

TRUST ME, SAVE IT FOR LATER 📲

One more point that has nothing to do with anything or everything to do with it. Remember how her board was made completely of men besides for her? Nathan is yet another man. And Nathan says that he was not supposed to be in the film in the beginning, but they kept engaging with him. It seems like a wonderful tactic on her part to lure him in. Her track record has been this way from what we know, and it may be because of horrible things that she had been through. It may also just be a product how she thinks. I don’t think we can separate the two but we can’t know anything for sure. One thing she did achieve is recognition which aligns with the grandiosity she consistently displayed. Something like no press is bad press? Each person’s reaction is kind of a tell and a window in to what they believe and how they think. I guess this might be why this is my analysis.

I have sooo much more to say. The discussion around this film is fascinating and might be better than the film itself, which is saying a lot. Let me know your thoughts and follow along for more! 👉🏻 by @mussietherapy

The Rebbe Rashab traveled to Vienna with his son The Frierdiker Rebbe in 1903 to consult with none other than Sigmund Freud, the budding professor and psychoanalyst at the time, largely known today as the father of psychoanalysis.

On FlyDubai flight FZ 1073, passengers and crew stepped up to stop an attack in the air, and I want to talk about what living with constant threat does to people: for most, the response to trauma is resilience, and some experience PTG. None of that makes war good, and PTSD is real and devastating. It does mean people adapt to terrible circumstances more than we expect.

Follow along for mental health education grounded in research, specifically as it relates to the Jewish community. Full sources are in the comments.
